Bi-cropping: what future for more diverse rotations?

23 Jan 2025 | ClieN Farms

Speakers:

Ian Matts (Brixworth Farming), Henry Tyrrell (Winwick Manor Farm)

In September, the Allerton Project organised an event to explore this method, with two farmers from our Climate Neutral Farms (ClieNFarms) project giving insight into their experiences. In this video, Ian introduces us to his clover understorey companion crop, while Henry shares his experience in bi-cropping peas and oats and establishing living mulches.
